The Position
Arevon is recruiting a Real Estate Specialist with a background in utility scale renewable energy.
Job Description
This new team member will be responsible for supporting the growing project development teams in the areas of title insurance, site control and document management. The ideal candidate will exhibit attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across multiple areas of expertise. Our work environment is inclusive and flexible. Responsibilities
- Manage system for real estate document retention and assist in document control and leasing efforts by reviewing deeds, corporate documents, and legal descriptions before site control execution.
- Coordinate among development team and outside stakeholders for surface and sub surface title orders and intake.
- Populate legal instruments and land contract schedules.
- Abstract real estate instruments for internal land management systems.
- Facilitate online recording of real estate instruments.
- Perform detailed review title reports and underlying real estate documents and prepare real estate risk assessments.
- Develop and implement process improvements in line with company objectives.
Qualifications
- At least three years of relevant project development experience with a law firm, title company or developer.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to build trust and confidence across the company.
- Ability to work as an integrated part of a team in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and the desire for continuous process improvement.
- Energy industry experience is a plus, but is not required.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), or comparable education, training, and experience is required. A law degree or paralegal certificate is not required if candidate can demonstrate relevant real estate development experience.
