Net-Zero Carbon Emissions Commitment
Arevon has committed to being Net-Zero by 2040. We will spend the next year establishing our emissions baseline and crafting a plan for how we will achieve this target through short- and long-term science-based pathways.
Arevon is dedicated to upholding each part of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework. These three pillars help drive our organization to support sustainable growth in our industry, while continuing to be proactive in the following areas:
Environmental
Arevon is committed to enhancing its environmental stewardship in all aspects of our business. We understand that our actions affect the environment in which we operate, and, therefore, we are responsible for taking proactive steps to achieve sustainable outcomes. One such way we plan to hold ourselves to this commitment is by adding pollinator habitats and increasing the use of sheep grazing for the purpose of vegetation management at our project sites, where possible.
Social
Our team is united by a passion to improve the future through clean energy, and we are eager to actively engage with and give back to the communities where our projects reside. We believe community engagement is integral to responsible renewable energy development and operations, and we intend to expand our efforts throughout the lifecycle of all our projects.
Governance
Arevon’s Executive Team and Board of Directors emphasize the importance of effective governance as having the right systems in place create transparency, provide guidance to leadership, and help to align the interests of our stakeholders. We are dedicated to incorporating rigorous business ethical standards and practices to promote a culture of integrity while mitigating business risk.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice
Since Arevon’s inception, we have promoted diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) throughout our organization. In 2024, we received Silver Certification from the Solar Energy Industries Association’s DEIJ Program, an evidence-based program designed to recognize specific actions and success in advancing a diverse and inclusive workplace. Moving forward, we are evaluating additional equitable and inclusive principles for companywide implementation and are prioritizing employee education.
