Testimonials
I just want to highlight how great of an opportunity and the benefits that the Ratts 1 Solar Project will bring to Pike County. This investment, a multimillion-dollar investment, actually is going to generate millions of dollars of tax revenue for the life of the project. This will also lead to the increased assessed value into Pike County and in return will reduce our tax rates for the citizens of Pike County, which is very important to the locals.
My dad was always involved with conservation all of his life, and he recycled long before it was popular. And so, this solar project, having the renewable energy, he would’ve been very thankful for that and to have it in our family and be able to keep the land for our children and our grandchildren. It just means a lot to us, and we’re very grateful for Arevon and the solar project.
We have a goal of 50% of our power being generated in San Diego County and Imperial County by 2035, and Vikings Energy Farm is a big part of that. So we’re really excited because this a great partnership with Arevon that we’ve developed here.
